Things to Consider When Hiring A Wedding Car in the North West

When considering which wedding cars you require the first thing that you will need to ask yourself is how many people need to be carried?
Our range of wedding cars can seat three passengers in the Royale Convertible, five passengers in the 1920's Regent Convertible and up to seven passengers in the classic Daimler DS420s and Regal Imperials.
Couples will usually choose our matched pairs of cars in either blue and ivory, or silver and pewter. We are able to provide a third matching car to the blue or silver cars for the Groom's family.
Many couples use the blue wedding cars to represent the blue in "something old, something new, something borrowed and something BLUE". Alternatively, other couples will opt to hire the silver wedding cars as they are a neutral colour and provide a classic look that matches all colour schemes.
If you are having a civil ceremony we can wait for you to be married then take you both for a trip around the block. This gives you some precious time together at what is the most special moment in your life. If you had been married in a church you would have had this time on your journey to your reception. Everyone who has gone for this option says it is fantastic!
The hotel can arrange for drinks to be served which can then be used to 'toast your return' and present wonderful informal photo opportunities. This 'time out' works extremely well for the happy couple as you may not get a chance to speak to each other again for quite a while!
Who Travels in the Wedding Cars?
No two weddings are the same!
As a general guide:
The Bride travels to the ceremony with whoever is giving her away.
The Bridesmaids travel to the ceremony with Mother of Bride.
The Groom usually travels to the ceremony with his Best Man and often his Ushers. Our Aston Martin DB9, Range Rover, Regal Imperial Landaulettes and/or Daimler Limousines are popular as transport for the Groom and his party.
The cars which work best together for a wedding are colour matched pairs. The Royale or Regent Convertible (for the Bride) with the Daimler DS420s and Silver Regal Imperial Landaulettes (which seat up to seven passengers) as the second car for Bridesmaids and the Bride's Mother.
If you need to consider families who are separated it may be easier for all concerned to have separate cars.
The Groom, Best Man and parents travel either as a 'first trip' in the Bridesmaids' car or in a separate Groom's car.
With two or more wedding cars we set out a red carpet to await the Bride's arrival at the venue. As she steps out of the car she can be sure that her dress stays clean as she chats to people and has photos taken - this can sometimes take a while!.
We would like to thank Malvern Cars for doing such an excellent job at our wedding. Both drivers were fantastic and the cars were perfect. We were all absolutely thrilled and had a wonderful day from start to finish.
Should the sky turn grey we have matching umbrellas on board ... not that we like to speak about this point for too long!
